Meet The Team

Scott is now our longest serving engineer having joined the company in 2015, and has since completed his NVQ level 3 apprenticeship and his 2391 Inspection & testing qualification, he is now a fully qualified Electrician. He also has his IPAF and PASMA accreditations.

Having Joined us in January 2022 Joshua has now completed his NVQ Level 3 apprenticeship and has also passed his 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification, he is now a fully qualified Electrician. He also has IPAF & PASMA accreditation.

Ben joined us in August 2020, having impressed with his willingness to learn and eagerness to start a career in the industry. He has since completed his NVQ Level 3 apprenticeship with Macclesfield College, and is now a fully qualified electrician. Ben has his IPAF & PASMA accreditations and has also completed his in-service Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT’s) qualification. Ben is now working towards his 2391 Inspection & testing qualification.

Joe joined us in 2021. He has gained his NVQ level 2 qualification and 2391Test & Inspection qualification. He is currently completing his portfolio for his NVQ level 3. Joe has also achieved his PAT testing, Emergency Lighting and Fire Alarm servicing qualifications as well as his IPAF license.

Grace joined in March 2021 after a successful work experience placement from Macclesfield College, where she was on the full time electrical course. She has since been enrolled on to an apprenticeship scheme and won ‘Apprentice of the year’ in her class which is a great testament to her skill and determination. She has recently passed her AM2s resulting in her becoming a Qualified Electrician.

Sam has joined us in early 2024 to pursue a career in the electrical industry as a mature apprentice. He has got a background in the stage lighting industry and brings this experience to his new role. Sam has been signed up to an apprenticeship to gain his Level 3 NVQ, and has also recently achieved his in-service Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT’s), Emergency Lighting and Fire Alarm servicing qualifications.

Harvey is our newest recruit and the 7th apprentice we have recently employed at John Potts. Harvey is currently enrolled on a full time apprenticeship course through Macclesfield College where he will complete his NVQ level 3.

Michael is our new Apprentice he was enrolled on the full time Electrical course at Macclesfield College and came to do his 30 hour work placement with us at John Potts. During his work placement Michael showed a fantastic work ethic and an enthusiasm to learn in the Electrical industry, this resulted in him securing a full time job to complete his apprenticeship.

Andy started with the company back in 2007 as an electrician. He has since worked his way up the company, and became director in April 2019.

Andy has joined the company in April 2021, having successfully worked in the electrical industry for over 35 years. He brings with him a wealth of Knowledge and experience and has a great reputation for building successful long standing client relationships.

Rosie has been an important part of the office team for the last few years. She looks after many aspects of office life, including, invoicing, accounts, Emergency lighting and Fire alarm reports and Portable Appliance Testing certification.
